DiSCo

I’ve recently joined the DiSCo (Disability Students’ Collective) student society at UTas as the social media and events officer.

I’ll use this space to share what’s happening and what I am learning, either as a page I update or blog posts. My initial focus has been getting to know the group. I am now finding an online chat platform that is accessible for everyone. It turns out some of the methods of communication haven’t been working for members of the group. This is a great opportunity for me to learn about making an online space that is accessible and inclusive.

We are also discussing creating our next event later this year.
